19th century Walnut Fender Stool -Brass Castors - Morris & Co Velvet
 
A very attractive late 19th Fender stool on walnut turned legs with brass castors/ceramic wheels. Traditionally upholstered and covered in Tulip & Bird fabric by  Morris & Co in Opal and Sea Foam colourway.  The Tulip & Bird pattern whose form bears all the fresh simplicity of a classic Voysey design undertakes a total colour transformation. This intriguing pattern now features deep gem-like tones reminiscent of the ceramic work of which C.F.A. Voysey was also a noted designer.
