A very rare find in the British mid century wingback chair department is this delightful Howard Keith Ambassador chair c.1955. The chair is beautifully proportioned with distinctive wingback sides and scrolled arm rests. We have fully reupholstered the chair in Linwood velvet and added a sharply contrasting cream piping so as to amplify the wonderful contours of the Ambassador chair. We also added a new luxury natural latex seat cushion and together with the inbuilt Howard Keith tension springs  the Ambassador provides the ultimate in seating comfort. The dark walnut legs are tapered and angled. The chair is incredibly well made... the solid beech frame and tension springing showing absolutely no signs of wear/tear after almost seventy years of use! As a little added extra we have paired this with one of our signature circular footstools with Italian brass tipped dansette legs in matching dark walnut.
