Very large storage bench completely upholstered inside and out in a mix of velvets by Linwood.  The base features a dramatic and intricately designed textile by designer Christian LAcroix for Designers Guild aptly named Algae Bloom. 
The storage space and seat are deep, measuring a bit over a half metre. The top is covered in Linwood Omega super soft, hardwearing and stain resistant velvet in Battleship.
The inside has heavy duty hinges and air lifts so that opening and closing the top is very easy. 
We have elevated the bench by using a lovely set of Mid Century reclaimed legs with brass caps.  This gives the piece more stature and elegance.
