Beech framed sprung armchair circa 1950s with handmade footstool.  We wanted to create a lighter "beach house" feel so we have heightened the natural blonde frame and upholstered it in a light and airy hardwearing geometric textile.  Its water colour tones are variations of greys, greens, taupe and mauve.  The beech frame has been sealed and protected with a flat matt water based varnish.  
We have hand painted the chair stretchers under the seat in a light mint and lilac to add to the light and breezy mood.
The footstool has been made by Angle and Poise to compliment the vintage chair.  A really  attractive and comfortable chair even if you don't have a beach house...yet!
