A very eye catching Thonet bentwood coffee house armchair Model 215 P  which we recently picked up in Berlin, Germany. We have not come across many upholstered Thonets and the elegant frame with armrests really grabbed our attention. We have tried to amplify that styling by reupholstering in the stunning Abstract 1928 linen by Zoffany. The 215P is one of the rarer Thonet designs with upholstered seat/backrest and was in production between 1920-1950.
Perfect wear and patination to this Armchair which we have left untouched save for a light wax. Structurally excellent with no loose joints/wobbles throughout.
